Life is a journey.

We sold our beautiful home in Clover VA and returned to the Winchester Va area – this we did for many reasons, but the main reason was family.

Temporarily we camped out in a camper we bought and in our office in Stephens City until we found a small but comfortable rental home nearby. We prepaid the rent for a year, sold Cloverly and set about looking for our new home.

My wife has always wanted a log home since we met – and that’s about forty years ago now.

She found it and I bought it for her.

It is beautiful and in a nice community – even though it is inside an HOA – it is a private gated community with a huge beautiful lake, miles of hiking trails, a campground, three beaches, a disc golf course, clubhouse and much more.

Below are a couple pictures from a recent hike on the property;

The journey continues – and I hope to build on to our property soon, and to aquire additional nearby property that is not HOA controlled but is just outside the gates and within walking distance of our log cabin.

Stay tuned – since all the moving is now done I will be creating more content more frequently.
